So who am I?

Once upon a time in a world “pre-COVID-19” I was a Software Engineer for over a decade. Why change?

During the pandemic which turned most of the world on it’s head I got heavily back into the game of Golf. It was one of the few things you could get out and do during the lockdowns without any issue.

It was during this time I made the decision to make a career switch into the golf industry and this was the perfect chance to switch from a digital engineer to a physical one, and thus The Golf Mechanic was born.

I was trained as a club fitter by Steve Low and Andrew Ash over at Tour Design Golf (previously Designer Golf) based in Northampton, UK. Tour Design Golf has over 25 years of club fitting experience and it was an absolute pleasure to be taught by such experts in the field.
